Pete Rose and The Hall of Fame
Now, some people may think that Pete Rose shall not be admitted to the hall of fame due to his gambling problems, and some people think other than that, and say he should be in. There are two sides to this situation, and both of them are very debatable. Now Pete Rose was caught gambling, and betting on sports. Actually, he was caught betting on baseball. For those of you that don't know who Pete Rose is, he is a very great baseball player who had played baseball in the major leagues from 1963-1984, and then became a manager from 1984-1989. Now most people remember him from his career on the Cincinnati Reds. Some of his career statistics are 4256 career hits, a total .303 batting average, and 160 total home runs. These aren't the best statistics that you will ever see, but they are truly amazing, and show why he should be admitted to the hall. No people called him Mr. Hustle. He was known for his great athletic abilities, and his hustle on the field, and showed the true athlete inside of him. Now wouldn't you think that from reading the past information, that he should be in the Hall of Fame? Well there might be one small thing holding him back, gambling.
